Below you will see a panel with three large buttons: AntiVirus, Parental Control, and Remote Access. In the upper left hand corner of the console you will see a traditional File Menu. You can access all the application’s features and functions from the FortiClient console. FortiClient enables all your devices to integrate with FortiGate.įortiClient is available for multiple platforms: Microsoft’s Windows (anything from XP onward), Apple’s desktop operating system Mac OS X (Snow Leopard or newer) and mobile operating system iOS (5.1 or higher), and Google’s mobile OS Android (Ice Cream Sandwich and newer). It must be mentioned here that FortiClient is fully integrated with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer. FortiClient provides real-time protection against viruses and other security threats, parental controls so you can block access to dangerous sites and adult content, and allows you to create a new VPN connection so you have remote access to the application.
